Single Market Focus
Rather than attempting to follow dozens of markets simultaneously, this project focuses on developing a deep understanding of a single market.
The objective is specialization.
By concentrating on AUDUSD, the goal is to develop familiarity with its behavior, structure, liquidity characteristics, volatility profile, and recurring patterns over thousands of observations.
Depth over breadth.
Mastery comes from repetition, observation, and focused study.
The market is viewed as a continuous auction.
At any given moment, price is searching for balance between buyers and sellers. As conditions change, price moves in search of a new area of agreement.
Throughout this process, price leaves behind important levels and zones created by prior market activity. These areas often become points of interest where liquidity, participation, and order flow may re-enter the market.
The objective is not to predict every move.
The objective is to identify high-probability areas where risk can be clearly defined and opportunities can be evaluated objectively.

Trades are often planned around areas where price may revisit before continuing toward a larger objective.
Risk management remains the foundation of every decision. Positions are only considered when the potential reward justifies the risk being taken, with a minimum target of approximately 1:3 risk-to-reward whenever market conditions allow.
In my view, large institutions, systematic participants, and algorithmic execution play a significant role in modern financial markets. Rather than attempting to fight those flows, the objective is to identify them and align with them whenever possible.

It operates 24 hours a day, five days a week, with daily turnover exceeding seven trillion US dollars across central banks, institutions, corporations, and individual participants.
How Money Is Made
Anticipating Relative Strength
Profits come from correctly anticipating the direction of one currency relative to another. A trader buys a pair expecting the base currency to strengthen, or sells expecting it to weaken. Returns are realized when the position is closed at a more favorable price than the entry.
Why It Is Difficult
A Highly Competitive Environment
Currency prices reflect the combined activity of millions of participants, central bank policy, interest rate differentials, and global capital flows. Leverage amplifies both outcomes, and the majority of retail participants do not achieve sustained profitability. Long-term success depends on disciplined risk management, repeatable process, and the willingness to accept that no single trade defines the outcome.
